     Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA) introduces ZrO₂, Cr₂O₃ and TiO₂ with similar lattices to Al₂O₃ in the ceramic formula, resulting in higher strength and toughness than alumina ceramics. 

    ZTA ceramic is a zirconia-toughened alumina ceramic, which is an inorganic non-metallic material with excellent properties such as high hardness, high strength, and high toughness. ZTA ceramics add zirconia to alumina ceramics. Through phase change toughening and micro-crack toughening, the alumina ceramics are toughened and reinforced, thereby improving the toughness of the alumina ceramics.
