What we usually call wear-resistant ceramic liners are generally used for wear-resistant chutes and silos in mining, chemical industries and other industries.

The structure is generally composed of wear-resistant industrial ceramics, buffer rubber layer, and fixed steel plate layer.

Wear-resistant ceramic lining plates have significant advantages in wear resistance, impact resistance, and convenient construction, but there are certain deficiencies in brittleness, thermal shock performance, and cost.

Therefore, when we fix the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate in the equipment, we must choose the appropriate fixing method according to the industrial use environment.

The following are 5 commonly used fixing methods:

1: Rubber gasket fixing method: This method is to fix the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate on the rubber gasket, and then fix the whole thing on the equipment. This method has the advantages of good fixation effect, strong impact resistance, and reduced noise.

2: Bolting fixation method: Use bolts to penetrate the fixing holes of the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate and fix it on the equipment. This method has the characteristics of high strength, good tightness, and easy disassembly. It is the most widely used method of fixing industrial wear-resistant ceramic linings.

3: Welding fixation method: If the working environment of the equipment is relatively harsh, welding fixation is a commonly used method. Welding the fixed steel plate of the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate to the contact surface of the equipment can effectively enhance the rigidity of the lining plate and the equipment and prevent it from falling off.

4: Adhesive fixing method: Use special adhesive to paste the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate on the inner surface of the equipment. This method is simple and low-cost. It is especially suitable for large-scale construction on site and saves maintenance time. However, it should be noted that viscose is mainly composed of organic components, is not resistant to high temperatures (the maximum temperature resistance cannot exceed 150°C), and is easy to age, so this method of pasting is only suitable for working environments at room temperature.

5: Dovetail slot fixing method: Fix the dovetail ceramic lining plate to the equipment that needs wear protection through stainless steel guide rails. When using, first weld the dovetail guide rail to the parts that need to be anti-wear, and control the spacing to ensure the gap between the ceramics. Then, the special ceramic with dovetail notch is clamped to the guide rail, and the ceramics are connected in series along the direction of the guide rail to complete the installation. This method is suitable for making anti-wear linings on equipment that transports bulk materials and has strong impact in high-temperature environments (around 750°C).

Please note that the choice of fixing method needs to be comprehensively considered based on factors such as the specific working conditions, material, and working environment temperature of the equipment.
