Selection of Corrosion-resistant Linings for Hydrochloric Acid Plants

Due to the corrosiveness of the acid, the liquid separation equipment in the hydrochloric acid plant was corroded, which increased the customer's downtime and equipment replacement costs.

In order to meet the needs of this customer, our technicians provided the customer with two solutions in order to verify which material is more suitable for the customer's needs.

The first technical solution is to use alumina ceramic as the lining.
The second technical solution is to use corrosion-resistant polyurethane as the lining.

Through sample testing, the customer's needs are perfectly met.
